Default Stock 5.3 internal turbo guys, post here. Longevity thread.

So, let me start out by saying... I know there are a BUNCH of guys out there with 5.3's that are either built, or people using cheap kits to make a TON of power... However, I haven't really come across a thread where guys are building streetable daily driven 5.3 fbodys to last years on end.

Requirements:

Stock 5.3L internals and heads or 4.8 guys
Can have aftermarket springs, pushrods, cam and timing chain.
Single or twin turbo setup
Retain Power steering
At least 2 years on the same engine driven 4,000 miles a year.
Any turbos/boost levels.

I am curious because I currently have a modified LS1 and I am wanting to move to the 5.3 platform with boost as I already have a lot of stuff I can swap over to the 5.3. I am looking around 550rwhp for a fun daily street car. I don't care about quarter mile times as I don't want a cage.

Ideally something that builds boost quickly, runs 11.5 or slower quarter miles is my goal so I don't need a cage. I know I could do this with nitrous, big head/cams etc. But I want to tackle a turbo build because I have never converted a N/A car before to turbo.

Post up if you meet this requirements.

Gen III 5.3, 15psi, over 10,000 miles in 2 years. I drive it everywhere, runs like I just installed it from the junkyard yesterday! E85 except right before winter storage.

11.5 1/4 with boost isn't even trying. Trust me, you're gonna love the easy power.

~6k miles on my Nova. Wastegate is 19 PSI and it only goes up from there.
Car gets driven HARD, I'm addicted to the sound of a billet compressor wheel.

I've boost spiked to 30+ PSI almost a dozen times for various reasons.
Have always ran 93 pump gas, has never been anything else in my tank.

06 L33 5.3.

any magic here other than just keeping timing at peak torque conservative? curious to hear more, are you also making it more rich at peak torque, etc
