Ok, I should’ve asked HOW do they flow? A turbulent port is garbage.

Interesting results. How about leaving the exact set up as is and swapping to an aftermarket intake and test it again. See if you cant get this sucker spinning to 7k which I too believe is the window you want to be in. 7200 actually would be my target. If the intake doesnt do it, maybe the turbo is tapping out

You'd have to have a lot of expensive equipment including a flow bench for this data.

i'm pretty sure the TBSS intake is good to those R's and folks have taken the 7875 much further, presssure and pressure ratio-wise

I have almost the identical set up (4.8, tbss, 7875, ported heads, sloppy stage 2 ish cam), and on 12-14 psi i'll see backpressure around 20-25psi

I spin it it to 7500 in 2nd and 3rd.

weak springs? cam degree? man i dunno. seems like it should pull to 7k tho.

honestly tho 40hp aint nothing to sneeze at on low boost.

[QUOTE=Game ova;19791352]
[it quits in the low 6s/QUOTE] This shows that you don't have to rev a motor to the moon, to run fast. Seems everyone is all about turning 8500 rpm.
Running fast and running faster than the guy next to you can be all about rpm. RPM can be a ci equalizer. An engine is an air pump. More cubes or rpm net more volume. Add fuel to said volume and produce more hp. SBE record runners >8400rpm.

Very interested if root cause of 6K limit is pursued.

Denmah, you would be an animal running around in a 1200whp 8500rpm screamer!
