I cruised over to the Norwood National Night Out car show, car steers great.
I'm waiting on the alignment guy to give me a time slot, then I'll swing over to Franklin Park and get that done.
I'm going to get some nicer headlights, mine are dingy and frankly weak as hell.

These are amazing and will completely change the night time driving experience:

I wonder how they look to on coming traffic-being old, my night vision sucks, esp with on coming traffic. Always looking for better lighting, those are pricey, be interesting to see how you like them.

The video above was made before Holley released their lights. Here is a recent video that shows the Holley against the JW Speaker headlights, which are also excellent, but have a distinct look that I don't find appealing on an old car:

Not to tear John's thread apart, but the worst possible thing one can do (regardless of marketing hype) to oncoming traffic is replace the Halogen bulbs with LED-style bulbs- the lens and reflector inside our "old", filament-based, omnidirectional source headlights is NOT based upon a point source of light as LED lenses are; LED lenses/projectors are specifically designed for a point source of light. Thus when one replaces dealed-beam or halogen bulbs with LED style using the same housings, the light may appear to be "brighter" but what one really accomplished was a diffusion of the available light, thus blinding oncoming traffic. This also applies to HID.
As an analogy, remember when Mag-lite offered the "led upgrade" option on their flashlights? It sucked, because the reflector designed for a omni-directional filament did nothing but diffuse a LED.
A good, sound read:

Hope this helps!

Those videos are great thanks Andrew!
@forcd ind my night vision is not great either.
I'll try to take a pic with one old one in and one new one once I get them.
I don't care for the factory yellowish color either.

Some people have added relays to the old lights, swear it makes them brighter, I never tried it.
I added some fancy lights, for a better name, and I experienced the brighter wider lighting, but less
focus, as you were explaining.

Went on vac in Western MI with the family, local buddy is selling of his dad's 40 collection of parts. I don't plan to run race on these but I always wanted a set of 15x4 Cragar SS wheels.
