Default T6 Hotside/Split DP/Turbo sizing questions

Hey guys, looking for some solid advice here. I'm just about ready to Nix the whole turbo portion of my 65' nova pro touring build. I ve been thru a pre bought turbo kit for my car and a fab guy already. This shyt is starting to add up and take its toll. So currently I have a built LS2/4L80E w/ s484. It has a T6 hotside. It seems others have had good luck in fitting at least a 4" DP. Between the TCI pro touring front clip I have, ac compressor, and large/wide front wheels, I m just not able to fit a 4" or greater dp. We thought we could split it into 2-3" DPs back behind passenger header and firewall, but even that isn't looking good. It looks to myself and the fab guy that only way possible is to split into 2x2.5". I'm pretty sure that this is not gunna work with this large turbo. So before I ditch this entire set up and cut my losses. Maybe slam a big Whipple supercharger on here, is there a turbo anyone could recommend that would work with what I ve got?
Stock LS manifolds
2.5" crossover into divided T6 merge
LJMS stg2 turbo cam
small enough turbo to run into split dp 2x2.5"
Oh and hopefully make 800rwhp. I don't have deep enough pockets to go thru all of this again from scratch as this is my 2nd fab guy and 3rd attempt at the original kit I foolishly purchased used.

P.S. sticking the DP out the fender and/or hood isn't really an option. I'm in to deep with everything else being built and designed to run a turbo here. Worse case scenario, id wait and save up alil more doe and scrap the exisiting hotside and t6 set up in favor of a turbo that can work well with a split dp to 2-2.5"
I may be able to fit a 3.5" dp if theres a turbo i could still run using my t6 hotside

I think you can run a 3.5 downpipe and still easily make your goal with the turbo you have.

Thatd be great if so...will it not adversely effect the turbo tho? Its a pumpgas streetcar. Like everyone else, more hp isnt enough. But i think im already convinced steppn down to an s480 with a smaller a/r n turbine mite be in my best interest for driveability and spool time

A guy had me build him a set of hot pipes for his c3 vette with a 408 he put a BW billet s480 on and wanted a 3" downpipe. I was like ok... But I built it anyway. He called me a few weeks later and was ecstatic! The car was on the chassis dyno and had just put down 800 to the tires over and over. So I think you can get 800 out of your setup with a 3.5" downpipe without any problem.

Stop stressing and just build it! lol You'll be amazed at what will work when you don't ask everone on the internets opion, lol.

I have seen multiple cars necking their downpipes from 5" to 3.5 right at the flange with a reducer cone and going all the way to the back axle with them. 2 off the top of my head were in heavy street driven 4th gen F-bodies. Both were running the older T6 88/96 Borg turbos with 1.32 housings and both were mid 8 second cars. I doubt very much you will see any issues at 800rwhp level.
