l59 cam wiped out.....
well when i pulled the cam i found this....couple of the last few lobes wiped out on the cam. any one had one like this?
is it a few bad lifters or due to a low oil pressure situation?
i had no intentions of taking the lower end apart....looks like im gonna have to now...

Do you have a build thread yet on the car?
Anymore I pull the engine down, bearings are cheap, and my luck at a good engine
has not been very good, lol.
heads and lifter are out , ill check rod bearings tonight.....
saying i do take it apart is everyone reusing ther rod bolts? what are you guys torqueing them too?
Just google LS rod bolt torque. They are TTY bolts so there is an initial TQ spec followed by degrees of rotation. The later engines had a slightly different spec than the earlier engines. GM upgraded the bolts.
I don’t have the info at hand.
