LS3 is alot stronger than an LS1. I'm not using stock LS1 pistons....using WS6stores brand of RPM speed flat tops. Hopefully they're stronger than stock!

Hilariously low lol. 2 gear pulls in FL summer and the IAT didnt move. Now when I do a full 4 gear pull in stop and go tuning I've seen 120, but I am assuming the baby turbo doesn't like 7k shifts. FMIC is the one that came with the STS kit. Didn't measure but Im sure the core is something like 24x12x3.

Getting close to having some form of exhaust lol.

Cutout replaced with a small dynomax bullet that is straight through.

After a bunch of measuring and searching online I found this resonator made by Vibrant. Never heard of them but Amazon had a TON of positive reviews and some before and after sound clips. Even though it's straight through the noise different in the clips was significant so giving it a shot. Plus it tucks up in a tight area.

That's cool!!! F**** hot here in south tx today 108* feels like 117* my phone said. That good about your iats. I'm positive after talking with another this week about his turbo 2ft front the tb and he meth only no fmic on his 5.3 and 7875. That my rear mount with no fmic with #10 nozzle at the rear of the car and then a #10 at the tb will work flawlessly. 1 for cooling one for octane. No more than 725rwhp

I am learning more and more in my "old age" that function over form matters more and more lmao. I need 1 fitting to finish up the fuel rail pressure sensor and can start logging again and try to get a clip of it running.

Yummm flux core welds... lol

ive had good luck with 3” mini mufflers that I get off eBay from performance curve. Jones makes some good cheap stainless smal case mufflers too as I picked one up when I thought about putting a 2” muffler on my WG since it’s open dumped but never decided to follow through. You would be surprised how much sound a small little case muffler like that really does.

Good choice on the Vibrants. Although they do quiet down your ride, they actually make it sound more refined and "deeper" - who doesn't like to go deeper? ;-)

LOL, I was shocked at the sound clips with how deep a 4/6 cylinder sounded after the Vibrant was added. And its a straight through design too.

Haha to be honest, it was the best "creature comfort" mod I made when my car reached "race-car engine" status...

That doesn't sound bad at all-I run a 4" with a big straight thru muffler, added more tailpipe and
its quieter, but picked up a drone-might add another small straight thru.

Not bad considering there's only resonators no real muffler on the car.
