I've got about 8 psi so far. I'm swapping to stock y and manifolds so we'll see what happens then but I would expect another couple psi.

I wouldn't say that lol. Going to swap to stock manifolds and pretty cool cat delete+y pipe kit that I found. Should spool significantly faster and probably make more boost based on guys like Zombies testing. We shall see.

Cat delete is absolutely mandatory for rear mount setups. The tiniest pieces of broken cat will destroy a turbo in no time. I am surprised any of the kits ever lasted long enough for a CARB cert. Also, you are correct in assuming it will make a big difference in spool time. In less promising news, rear mounts are unable to make good spool times with any sound muffling. No matter what you do before or after the turbo, if it decreases annoying drone, it will cause more lag.

The cat delete pipes are already wrapped. Need to wrap the y. This y is also 2.5 vs. the 3 that was on with the longtubes. I expect to see a noticeable difference, but we'll see. I was quickly reminded how heavy stock manifolds are lol.

Exactly. This is like foreplay, but then the girl tells you...."ehh let's just hang out, let's just be friends".

Don't **** around with fuel. I always thought I was fine since I had enough fuel on 1/4 mile runs, short highway roll runs, and dyno pulls with no afr problems. Ended up not even doing one full session of a 2 day Road Atlanta event because extended running sucked the fuel bucket dry. Missed out on a lot of potential fun and learning on a great road course because of that. Luckily it did not hurt the motor, but still...

I'm a little perplexed. Got the stock manifolds and cat delete y pipe on. Also got on the 7665. Went and made a pull and no boost. Realized I had the wastegate hooked up wrong, fixed it and still no boost. Checked the wastegate fire ring and it looks ok. Have to be missing something stupid. I pressure tested the cold side prior to putting on the 7665 and fixed a few small leaks, nothing major.

Not being sarcastic, but are you sure the throttle body charge pipe is ALL the way on? Had mine come off just enough to keep it from making boost....but still looked like it was on.

When I pressure tested it the TB coupler was leaking so I reclamped it and it stopped....bov seemed ok. I did go through redoing a few couplers to get a better clamp on them....maybe I should pressure test again since I put the 7665 on.

On the bright side I checked the oiling after mounting the new turbo. I can literally shut the car off and let it pump for 10 seconds, go unhook the drain line, and zero oil comes out. Good stuff, and I don't even have a sump.

You will figure it out buddy. Looks good. Hope you wrapped all the pipe and manifolds or coated them. You gonna make some power now with that 7665. Turn it up to 12-14# and go bust some centri guys with that turbo tq curve

Thanks man. Cat delete, y pipe, and most of the rest of the exhaust is wrapped. With the stock manifolds it should light off quick once I figure out the bonehead mistake lol. I'm looking for exactly the boost range you mentioned so hopefully I can sort it and see what it does. Just been tough to get time lately.

I couldnt make boost, exhaust came loose before turbo-fixed that and then lost boost
again-pipe came loose at inter cooler. So i had a hot and cold side giving me grief.
I have had pipe pull out of a hose, then go back in, drove me crazy finding that leak.

The smaller you size the pipes the faster you will spool. Did you do 2.25 hot side and 2-2.25 cold?
