Ddnspider's- Project Wrong-Way- Rear Mount Turbo Thread
I realize an .035 is small, but just want to get the oiling solved first then worry about tweaking stuff. No spare turbo unfortunately. I looked into a dedicated system but didn't like the idea of a 2nd pump, a cooler, a reservoir, etc. Leaning towards turbo but don't want to spend 450 to be in the same spot lol. Hence the pan idea.

Why do you need a 2nd pump? Turbo drains into a pan, pan feeds pump, pump feeds oil to turbo or a cooler which feeds the turbo and the cycle continues. I guess the issue with yours is height, if the turbo can drain into the pan effectively (just needs to keep the level lower than the bearings) and the pump can prime out of the pan you should be good.

Well I know they are expensive, one that would be an upgrade for my car, I was quoted $1800 but the size you need would be under a grand. Consider this: I'd rather spend $900 and not have to worry about an oily mess. Even when you get it fixed, correct me if I'm wrong, but you are going to worry about it leaking again. The peace of mind and lack of hassle is worth it for me. And truth be told, I'm the biggest cheapass.

Exactly. And I was still considering it but the stupid grease that you do everything 3k miles is $180 https://www.compturbotechnology.com/...ease-cartridge
And reviews were VERY hit or miss on this stuff.

shout out to @soloman369 for hooking me up with that VSR billet 76/65. Hoping to get it this weekend and try swapping it in and see if my oiling issues are better. Also going to try the pan test and see how that pans out....pun intended.
Well I don’t care. I’m offended. Triggered. Nah. It’s cool, I knew what you were doing. And I agree with what ddnspider posted above. Lolololololol
