Default Turbine wheel sizing

SBE 5.3, LJMS stage2 turbo cam, LS6 intake, #210 injectors, E85, with a BTE Glide. #3,100 car

S475 T6, 1.32 a/r 96/88 wheel. Is this turbine wheel too large for the combo?

Atleast a 80mm, even a 84mm will work great.

Turbine wheel isn't large at all. What's the MPH goal? Cast 74 has been 150+, billet 76 has gone 160+ well above that weight.

Well a billet 76 can get a car 500lbs heavier to low 8's. I think a larger turbo would make it much easier but your also not far off considering your goals.

You already have the S475 or still shopping?

Still shopping around. There is a considerable price difference between the 475 and 480.

This isn't too much more then a cast 475, it'll make some jams: https://turbo4less.com/product/vsr-8...let-t6-1-32ar/

Mathematically I need 900hp. And mathematically the S475/96-88 pencils out, but not by much. again, this is just math, no real world obstructions factored in.

75mm billet or 80 mm cast will get it there. im sure a std 475 will get that weight in the 8's with the right setup.

My 6.0 with the cast 75 at 3200 on e85 went 8.70's. Have a billet 80 now. Haven't been on a good track with it yet. Have already run the same 1/8 with 4 more mph and I'm .06-.07 slow in 60'. Either will work .

Was that with a real 75 or the vs475 version?

A real one but I would think a vs475 would do the same
