It’ll be perfect! 4th gen rods and ls6 heads. Just remember the 07+ has a 58x reluctor wheel one the crank rather then a 24x

LPE makes a 58x to 24x converter box to run a GEN 3 PCM with a GEN 4 motor.

By the time you buy that, a wideband and a boost controller, may as well go Holley!

depends on what you spend for a boost controller. The 58x to 24x works well if you just want to drop a GEN 4 motor in an Fbody with a stock PCM and everything like gauges function.

Well you can get Holley for about $800 now, so minus the $275 conversion box, $150 wideband, $150 boost controller, and then factor in HPtuners costs of $100-$500.

Sure, there are instances when the Holly makes sense. But not always. Plenty of people already have EFI Live/HPT so no cost there. They want factory gauges and are good with a $10 manual boost controller. Just different strokes.

Lots of instances it makes sense! Especially when shops are knocking people over the head for $600-1000 tunes and the engine didn't even cost that much. You can make factory gauges work if you take the time to do it. Jesus I pity the fool using a $10 controller lol

Not saying you in particular, rather the other 95.68% that don't do it themselves.

You can get a plug and play harness and ECM now from Holley, solid start to getting your stuff up and running as fast as possible without any converter boxes or doodads.

You can get this from Summit or Jegs when they have the sales ($100 off), or Holley's black Friday sale wont be too far away: https://www.holley.com/products/fuel...parts/550-905T

Hey now, the $10 manual boost controllers definitely come in handy lol.
You should see the torque we picked up using one to eliminate crack pressure from a wastegate with an 11 PSI spring in it lol.
