Anyone know what he has done to the block itself? Partial fill, stud girdle?
I'm friends with him on Facebook and was going to message him, but as of right now it looks like he's being bombarded by people so I'll let the dust settle lol.
I have an aluminum block that I'm considering a partial fill on since its not a later 4th gen siamese bore block.

No fill and no girdle, all factory fasteners in the bottom end. Just head studs.

So whats the basic setup run down these days? I had heard (may not be correct) that the new car was 2400lbs race weight?

From youtube Proper tuneup keeps the heads down. Water in the cooling system, weighs 2550ish, trap rpm 7700, lots of valvetrain mods, non filled.

Will it live to the 1/4? 4.50@155 1/8th would be knocking on the 1/4 record too if it could ride out the back.

It might live to the 1/4 with cutting a bit of power on the way and still break the record. Shift point is 8400rpm also.
