Default Cheapest place to buy brand new ATI headunits??

I might be parting out my D-1SC kit to get an F1 or F1R if I get a buyer, I know superchargersonline sold procharger headunits before, but it doesn't look like it now, any other places?

Whats the average price for an F1?

When i called the other day to buy another head unit, to keep from haveing to send mine in, ATI told me it was 3600 for an F1R, and for an F2 it was 3900. I thought it was pretty much crazy to buy from them, surely there is some one cheeper, That distributes through them. Justin

I would see if you can get the head-unit from http://superchargers4less.com . The prices they quoted me last year were very reasonable.

Good luck,

Mark

BOS,

You really dont think the D1-SC can make the power you are wanting??? or is it you want to make the power while spinning the blower less so you see no slipe and spin the head unit slower??

I don't think it fits on the J-style bracket that the F1 and the D-1SC can fit on does it?

Its also not self contained correct?

Kyle, I'm just going for max effort I guess.......

If I did that all I would have to switch out is the cam in the motor.......I would probably keep the 3.4" pulley and see what it did with that.......then if needed maybe order a larger one to boost it down......its ratio is 5:1 compared to the D1SC ratio

I think your jumping the gun. wait for the fmic, cam if you want to, and the 3.2 pulley. I think you will make alot of power. with the 3.2 and fmic I think close to 600rwhp is possible.

my old custom non intercooled kit with a P1 head unit just made 446/405ish (don't remember the exact tq) on a stock motor with long tubes. A4 with 3200 Vig stall unlocked at 10psi getting out of it at 6k. We did one run locked but since it was non intercooled with the alky the tune locked was all wacky when the alky hit but it still made 467/430ish. If we had done a special tune just for locked it would have made more.

I know your setup has alot more in it. I would certainly max out what I have now instead of throwing more money at it without knowing what you have can do.

Yah I would not upgrade the head unit until you get your car in the mid 10's.

I am sure you can hit 10.5's if you get the right pulley combo on the car.

I've been on that same search for a while. Cheapest place I've found so far is Proficient Performance, but I don't know how solid this site is (don't see physical street address on the site).

http://proficientperformance.com/Mer...&Store_Code=PP

ProCharger F-1R SuperCharger (satin)
Part#: PC-PC306A-1
Price: $3,194.08

A&A Corvette always has good pricing, might want to check with him as well. http://www.aandacorvette.com/

I'll have to shop around......I will do whatever I have to do.....if I do get a chance to grab up an F1, I'll do it....it was a future upgrade anyways.....now that I got the pulleys that will hold it

Isn't that Silver Bullet guy a D1? I would hold off until you tweak out the parts you have in the pipeline... I would think that 10.5@130mph is a very solid goal if your car is on the heavy side.
