Talk me OUT of turbocharging my truck :)
Let's have some fun! I picked up an 05 Sierra 1500 with a 4.8. it was bone stock and I finished doing maintenance on it. With a tune and new plugs and wires it really woke it up......but there is SO much room under the hood. It looks like it would be easy to throw a kit on it and I've got a GT67 and a 7665 sitting in my garage, one of which would be perfect for the little 4.8 and be responsive as heck. Talk me out of it!!

2006 RCSB 4x4 work truck trim . Junk Yard 6.0L/4L80E LS9 head gaskets and ARP studs. 2 Nasty Borg warner EFR9180's I think they were. There like 67mm
Bent 2 rods and compromised 2 piston that hit the counter weight over boosting it on accident...
Rebuilt it with the 2 best used ones I could find in a friend's core pile. Put a baby cam in it that I had laying around and let her eat again.

You can buy just a manifold and fab your self if you would like from there. When you think about the time spent hacking up a stock manifold, Its nice to be able to grab a finished product for a reasonable price and go from there.
Ebay also has some cast passenger side manifolds you can use a starting point.
