Brock uses a Dynojet. Prior and future dyno runs will be on the exact same dyno. Last run was on a very hot day and the upcoming run will be on a much cooler day so that will help too I'd think.

Took it for a little spin today. Can't really get into the throttle with just the basic tune in it but it starts, idles and drives nice for what I can do at this point. When I first started it it was smoking off the engine on the driver's side. Turns out I spilled a little oil on the head and header when I had the valve cover off. That was a momentary butt pucker though seeing all that smoke and smell. I just barely got into boost for just a second or two, that sound is going to be addictive.

Yes, 91 octane. Can't find 93 around here anymore. I think timing ended up at 22 degrees advanced.

Rich,

i have a very similar set-up to you. Great job on the install. A smaller pulley. like 3" or 2.9" will go a long way with your set-up. Im not sure what your boost levels are but with headers, mine dropped down to 4-5 psi. a 2.9" pulley on your same set-up moved me to around 8-9 psi. with your DW 300c pump, you are plenty set for the extra 50 hp at the wheels. just letting you know. this set-up is awesome and i hope you enjoy it.

Been a little bit since the install and tune, how's it running? Hopefully in this cooler weather you are fully enjoying the added boost to the GTO. I have another question that will message you about.

It runs great, drives just fine. Just a little disappointed in the power output but we have a few more things we want to check into but just haven't had time to do so.
