Default terminator x and intake to use questions

I bought the terminator x and have been using it on my blow through carbed turbo 5.3 ls.Im going to make the switch to efi but have some questions on it.Can you run a truck style intake and make around 750-800hp at the wheels with it.Im honestly in the dark with the efi and would love builds or opinions on it.I will be running e85 so if you have a good intake, injector and throttle body and fuel pump suggestions would love to hear them. The goal is 750-800 on e85 with basically cam only 5.3..If im out of bounds please let me know that as swell.I just feel im leaving allot on the table by running the carb with this system.

My goto is the TBSS intake for the cathedral port stuff. It’s like $145 brand new off the web. If you’re trying to run a bunch of RPM there may be better options.

The stock truck intake is definitely capable of supporting that kind of power. However, as mentioned if your unsure the TBSS intake has tons of data online and is an excellent performer.

Where do you get them for $145? Seems a lot of people want $300+

I was referring to just the intake not the complete assembly with rails and all of that. Punch

12638038 into Amazon and it comes up for $122.

Issue you run into is all the OEM EFI intakes are long runner and fall off power wise more than a short runner or typical aftermarket intake would. I've still seen ridiculous power/ET on OEM intakes. But id bet they woudl pick up quite a bit past 6k with an aftermarket intake. if you want something optimal a shorter runner deal would be the way to go IMO (on paper anyway!). Hot air cars also tend to do better with higher RPM. Carb'd setups also tend to do slightly better than EFI with no IC.

yep, every time a customer brings me a bare one I mention they’re heading down a $600 path by the time you dress it and get a throttle body on there. But none the less, the intake itself is dirt cheap lol.
