Default Block/injectors... undecided

Long story short... had a FBO/ECS ls3. Took a ****, short block is gone. In process of building now. Torn between doing stock crank or stroking it. Looked online and everyone's 50/50. Also torn between ID or FIC (clinic) injectors. End goal is putting down 1000whp.

Lot of usage/car/fuel type data needed for an in depth answer.
More cubic inches makes power production easier with a blower, I'd stroke it provided you aren't looking to spin it really high.
Injectors, either of those will work, don't forget about Bosch 210's as well, running a set of FIC (Connection) injectors and they've performed well for me.

flex fuel

i have 127# fic connection right now, but only problem I've had with those is that not a lot of shops can tune them. Shops either prefer ID or FIC Clinic.

I'm Planning on maxing out the blower, and rev the engine to 6500-7000.

I'd stroke it then, 408, 415, 6,500-7,000 shouldn't be an issue for any of those, E85 will make it easy too.
That's odd about the injectors, Pat G. is tuning my car now with FIC 1000's and he's got it dialed, car is running better than it ever has.
I think some shops just want you to buy expensive injectors from them because its what THEY know.

Per the math, going from a stock 3.662" to a 4" stroker crank gains 8% displacement. In a perfect world that 8% displacement will give you 8% more power, but its probably more like 6%. I am of the opinion that there are easier, cheaper ways to gain 6-8% power than stroker cranks such as a better heads or supercharger, or simply live with the power loss and improve other things about the car with the money you saved.

I've read that the increase in piston speed in turn increases wear.

What size head unit do you have now?

I've read that too, but people are still stroking it. Lol. Just the baby 1500 for now, but hopefully by next year doo a 2200r/x. I would've had that of the engine didn't pop. Sell the Ls3/get fuel etc etc.

no no... rod went through the stock block, followed by the wrist pin. Carnage everywhere. Quite an awesome experience....
