Summit SUM-G9300 Turbo Manifold Mockup Pics
Hello All, we were doing a tech piece on a mockup engine in the shop and took some photos of how things fit together with our new divided Cast Stainless manifold. The Turbo is our 79mm T4 SUM-270004R. The manifold accepts our 44mm diaphragm gate SUM-260072 or the high-end piston style SUM-270100R. We took pics of both so you could see how they fit next to the downpipe.
We used a length of our 4' Stainless tubing with our Downpipe Flange Adapter SUM-260803
The plug wires need to have 90 degree boots on the spark plug end. If you guys have a part number that works well for you, please let us know and we can add it to suggested items. Crusty old truck coils were used in the photo because that's what a lot of guys run.
So here for your viewing pleasure! Please let us know if you have further questions.

Msd makes a short and long plug wires, and have plug ends you can bend. The round truck coils take the short wires, the ret. ones use the longer wires. Looks like the short ones would clear. Be interesting how that setup would fit in my G body, right now I have the Hooker setup mocked up.

Curious to know if anyone try these yet "sum-260072"?
I know what they look like but unsure if Summit does anything to make them better other than engraving their name on?

No they mean 44/45 gate. I already got burned by their description since I had 2 50mm gates laying around so I bought one of these manifolds. The OD of the vband flange is 50mm and I’m sure whoever wrote the description doesn’t understand how gate sizing works.

The Turbosmart 45mm gate fits perfectly on the WG flanges.
There needs to be some pictures of the manifold mounted to an engine in actual cars.
I think getting a 4" downpipes will be very difficult in the space between the firewall, block, frame, and manifold.
