( this is in reply from page 4 for v8_dsm_v8again)ok fine you say machine the block and extend a steel girdle to the aluminun block, you cant do that, diffrent expantion rates , it will never seal,if you were going to do that the girdle will have to be made out of aluminun, than it would be twice as thick, then the oil pan is down a half a inch, you run into ground clearence problems,I designed the girlde to be hassle free, no machine work, just bolt it on,it boxes in all your mains, decreases windage, fits under the stock oil pan, no hidden cost, and it is thick enough, it is as hard as a arp bolt, money back if you do not love it.

I wanna see this motor in something ANYTHING! Throw some times out. Put it in a Z, a TA, a Vette, a rickshaw, doesn't matter....I just want to see a time slip from this setup.

We just build them!! I wish I could take a car with this engine for a spin. When this car goes for a spin I think we will hear about it!!

nice, u's are getting close to the record cars we got in asutralia now
2 cars here are AFAIK the world record holders for pump fuel, both twin turbo charged 383 holden v8s. One makes 1350rwhp and the other makes 1480rwhp. Both running 98 octane unleaded

Tell us about the motor, so we'll have a better perspective; all aluminum, or CI/alum, etc.

made 31 pulls to get cal happy. There was 15 pulls that exceed 1400hp and gaskets lived.

Best guess on hp was from blackws6. He guessed 1420hp
Best guess on tq was from eviltwins. He guessed 1150ft lbs

I will have to email a pic to you, but, yes, the angle of the spoiler is adjustable, which allows you to adjust the amount of downforce on the rearend and tires.
