Kaos called me last week. I DID answer the phone and his questions, as well as gave him some suggestions on what to try. The same as I did for you at least 8-10 times over the last 2 weeks.

I have no idea what happened to his car from the time we drove it until he got it home. Fact is, it ran perfect when he left. Sometimes **** just happens. There's only so much that can be done over the internet. Kaos called my shop and spoke to Anthony this week also. We offered to look at his car whenever he can get it to us.

No point in speculating any further. We need to physically check it out. May be something simple. May not be.

(Kaos - got your email. I'll see if I have what you need. Give me a call sometime Monday or Tuesday.)

i hope people arent taking this all wrong. ROB and everybody at QMP has been a world of help. they have talked with me and have tried to help me. thats not the problem. and once i cant figure it out it will more than likely go down to robs but the only thing stopping that is cash flow as of late. i just dont want to buy a new WG and that not be the problem and then be stuck with 2 WG that are in great working order. I do NOT want this to be a bash session on QMP bc their product is awesome. so if anybody has any more suggestions just let me know

Personally I think you should have went back there like a week ago, the WG angle got beat to death and well, if you cannot borrow another WG locally to try then you needed to go plan b.

To be honest PSJ, we couldn't have even worked him in a week ago. I have a FULL house and we're literally going to have to squeeze him in as it is.

I have no doubt we can get it worked out. (<--Poet)

And he will get the lead out.

Take it easy on the car until you figure it out, don't hurt it Kaos. Going from 290rwhp stock to where you are now is very good... It's not uncommon to have some bumps along the way don't lose your resolve. Getting out of it and getting a slower car is boing as hell.

Yep, patience is key with any high-output street car, especially if you go the FI route.

**** WILL break and go wrong without any warning even if it was setup properly. It's part of the hobby.

Are there any local Speed shops that carry the standard hks wastegate? If so I would try that approach first. Make sure they have a good return policy. If you can't work something out like that I would bring it to QMP.

Good luck.

Remember you bought a used kit so you should not be 100% suprised if you have a minor problem here and there or have to replace a part or two. I probably would have sprung for a new WG by now.

not everyone has $400-650 for a new wastegate sitting around.
