Default procharger and laughing gas...inside please

Who has done a small shot of N02 with a blower... I had a new forged motor put in and I am looking for some real power gains now. This motor is ready to rock and roll with all the forged goodies inside. My guy that built it said that i could do it with no worries so i wanted some feedback on you fellas who have sprayed on the dyno.... Also, how much of a shot and what do you have in the engine.

I have a stock ls1 with 7lbs and thinking about putting a small shot on mine..I have a safe tune 12.1 air/fuel done by speed inc.

i have a 30 shot on mine (dry) and i had a severe lean condition when ever i sprayed it. switching to a wet shot i think

I ran a 50 dry shot on top of 8PSI on a stock engine. Picked up ~ .4 and 4mph spraying up to 5800rpm and shifting at 6200 - worked very well and never hurt anything, plus a 15lb bottle lasted forever

What injectors were you running at the time and what RWHP was it making before the shot?? After?? Thanks

42lb SVOs at 55psi, it was at 450rwhp (unlocked auto) on the dyno but I never tried the nitrous on the dyno. I shut it off at 5800 rpm since the MAF was getting maxed out, the injectors were getting over 90% and my only fuel system mod was an ATI inline pump so it was running out of fuel quick.

Never hurt anything and made a ton of passes with it, just used an RPM switch to turn it off at 5800 and a WOT switch to turn it on. Had about 350.00 in the whole N20 setup. For a bigger HP setup I would use a wet kit but the small dry shot worked great for me..
