What do you mean you have to cut the cowl for the install??? From the inside? Will the SS look still be the same from the outside cuz I really like how the hood looks?

SSmoked99, the cowl cut is very small, and we supply a pre-formed steel patch panel to weld or bond in place. You will also have to cut a little out of the hood bracing, but not through the hood skin. On your SS hood, you will lose the ram air function, as the kit uses a different air intake setup.

hope this helps

As long as the SS hood still looks the same from the outside then I'm all for it. So what do you think the cost on this thing is gonna be??? I can't wait till this comes out. For all you 03/04 cobra guys out there watch out for those roots S/C LS1's cuz you guys are gonna be surprised when you think its just another LS1 that your gonna smoke, but when you here that whine its BYE BYE COBRAS

You really don't know much about the 03/04 Cobra's do you. You may be close to a Cobra with an Eaton but if they swap on a Twin screw. The cobra is going to leave you for dead.

If I were to get this roots for my LS1 I'm pretty sure I would smoke a TERMINATOR. stock cobra against my LS1 w/ a roots....yeah the LS1 would win. Now mod for mod I still think the LS1 will win

You actually own a Cobra and you're saying this? Prove it. Post pics of it

Here's a C5 with LG LT's, Vararam, Cam and the Magnacharger Kit. The Maggie can't support much more power then that. It can't pump enough CFM.

Here's a graph of a Twin Screw 03 Cobra. How are you going to beat a Twin Screw Cobra with an Eaton LS1 when the Eaton really can't produce over 500rwhp?

That's funny.

On the Eaton LS1 v twin screw cobra debate. LS1 cars weigh less and adding a small shot to the eaton will level the playing field even more.
