Sorry... we are all on xmas break right now, but they were finalizing 3 levels of pricing, including a potential package to run a blower that could make major power but at a noticeceably higher price. Might have some updates after Xmas, worst case, first of the year.

In my humble opinion.

I’ve had a mag on a C5 for 3 seasons, I just had the heads removed for inspection, and found no concerns of any kind. The engine is stock LS1. I have been running 3.5 and 3.3in pulleys with headers installed.

In my situation an intercooler is not necessary and would take nominal power away, I suspect Magnuson added the intercooler because the Z06 has problems with detonation, and there is an issue with the restart test for the EPA which a different gasket and intercooler solved.

A positive displacement blower is rated on CFM per revolution, which has little to do with pressure or boost. It was mentioned many times in this thread that the power is limited by the size of the blower, true, with high RPM comes inefficiency and you get no gain from spinning faster. The HP difference between a 2.9in and a 3.3 in pulley at 6000RPM (engine) is nominal, however at 2000rpm you will get the full 20% increase as the blower is still efficient at this speed. This is the fun factor.

It was mentioned that water/alky can be used in hot climates, which will allow more timing and hence power, but as many fuel pumps aren’t built for 500RWHP the additional fuel will solve the starvation problems

I would like to hear more about your setup. How much boost you seeing, how much power, what kind of tuning and gas, other modes are you happy you wnt with this instead of other kits? I pretty convinced that for a street car this type of charger is best, and since you aren't seeing any problems major or minor sounds like its pretty safe for a stock car. I myself want the engine to last as long as possible before a rebuild, and My big concern was detonation with this charger, and it looks like it isn't at least in your case.
Wildta I'm glad I'm not the only one excited for this to happen, I wish they would hurry on up with some news-the wait is torture

well since nothing new has happened, anyone have any guesses on the different power packages that they are talking about making? Also what kind of pricing do you think these kits will have.
It would seem to stay competitive with the other charger kits out there they're going to need to keep the price down, which means cheaper than the magnasum corvette kit prices, which I believe are 6 grand. I would think 4 grand is a good number and 4.5-5 grand with intercooler. this way its still cheaper than many kits or at least the same. Many people will not want to spend an excessive amount of money to cut their cowl for a minimal amount of power. It looks like they were trying to use a corvette kit on the fbody, if this is the case than I would think most of the work is done for them, far as design, fuel requirments etc, so they should be able to keep the price down--at least I hope.

PSJ said in another thread that pricing and information will be available in 2 weeks....So expect pricing sometime the 1st or 2nd week of Feb

PSJ, is the company building the kit and forum sponsor or do they plan on becoming a sponsor?
