Ring gaps and boost?
Ring gaps and boost? When I built my motor, I set it up to take a 200 hit of spray. Ring gaps are .016 top and .018 second. How much boost would I be able to push before I run into ring problems? Pistons are forged flat tops from Diamond.

Once I got the feel of 700 lb ft of TQ I was hooked and N/A is plain *** boring to me. Sure, I can roast the tires through 3rd with my H/C setup, but the pin you in the seat TQ isnt there and I got tired of filling 2 bottles every weekend. I want something thats theres all the time Hopefully the local guys arent reading this
when i did my rings, i remember the FI and nitrous guides on the ring chart that came with the rings had them at similair gaps.
so you should be able to run some good boost, now what is your CR to me would be more important.

I use .025 and .028 on a 3.905 bore FWIW.
