Try to give more info than that, like the length, diameter, and the inlet size.

I finally got my filter made by K&N had to wait about 2 months... fit with nothing to spare, 5" inlet, 7" OD, 6" long cone

here is some pics someone took of the car last weekend at a meet:
cant see it too well... but its stuffed in there.
If the car wasn't a daily driver I woudln't even bother with a filter....

The one I have now is just for moving the car around, it's not rated for power level. We have dynoed the car with it off.

I have a 4.00 inlet, 6.00 base, 5.00 top, tapered, 8.00 long filter I am going to try to fit. I eventually will try it at the track and see if it affects the performance.

I would love to see some results with that filter on a LS1. I think its the only one i can fit on the D-1SC without having to use the air filter restrictive arm that i have now.

Air filter flow is all about surface area. Those HKS mushroom filters are worth donkey ****, we lost 40 rwhp on a friends TT car using 2 of those filters. As a side effect, after a while the foam starts to break apart and get sucked into the turbo/blower.

I'm running a 10" long K&N with a 4" inlet, it flows nicely for my setup.

Here ya go John. This is the only way I could get a filter on my setup since the turbos are so close to the charge pipe...

Not sure about street driving. If it's not mounted low, you could probably get by. I'm thinking about taking mine apart and adding a piece of panty hose or thin filter element between two layers of screen. That would help cut down on dirt.

I would run the largest filter you can get into the space you have. Also remove all the oil from the cloth. Thats if you don't drive on the street much.

Something like that will keep out the bigger debris. Most race cars dont run filters, ie. look at cars like Moran's Monte Carlo. For the street a real filter is kind of nice.

Andy, I know that, but I have actually called up KN and SB and talked about the cfm rating of various filters that I could order.
