Intercooler for WS6 Trans Am
I need to intercool my turbo and I am wondering if anyone makes a kit for we Trans Am folks who don't have a wide open front bumper like the camaro guys do.....
Anyway, if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated....also at reasonable prices
Thanks

Yeah it was a Tial.... didnt work well with the SC so i switched to a Vortech Mondo....... going with a Tial again for my Turbo setup.

Edit: Nevermind. After looking at PSJ's setup it looks like there is plenty of surface area exposed.
much better
also what system is this intercooler going on?
-you know there were turbo kits around that came with intercoolers (back when you were saving money
) Kyle, I think the front mount with the LP cover is growing on me. Screw the MD front LP!!
Besides...the front plate cover will hide the IC on the street enough, allowing decent airflow through the fog light holes, and then open that sucker up on the track. I think I'd still find a way to shroud it from the fog light holes and underneath the front facia to get some extra air flow to it.
, see post below) and using the phamspeed kit, so I welcome competative prices on ICs cold side stuff. Like I said above, A2A, imho is the only way to go for a street/strip car. In all honesty and an unbiased opinion, who is making the best A2A IC out there right now? http://www.pwr.com.au/pwr/index.asp
We only lose about a 1/3 of a pound on our Hemi kit with it.
They are more expensive but great for someone who doesn't want to cut up their front end. You can see by just looking at the picture how much better the air would flow through it. The fastest turbo cars, 3000 horsepower door slammers use liquid/air intercoolers.

You could always mount a big liquid/air intercooler behind the front facia? Something like this:
