Anyone with a running Phamspeed kit, please come in
The center of my turbo is about even with the center of the crank bolt on the dampner and my oil drain is on the driver side of the pan. Can anyone tell me if their phamspeed turbo is lower/higher than this? From the pics that i can find, i think i am at the same height.
If it won't work then i will just have to suck it up and redo this portion of the kit.
Thanks

Doesn't matter though, make it work for you....
sscam68... any guesses on how close that height is to the threshold of being too low? I just hate to finish the kit only to find out it is too low.. but like i said, these Phamspeed kits seem to be at the same height and are doing alright.. Right?
As a suggestion, i would try and mount it as low as i could and also make sure that not any part of the line is higher than the elbow/drain.

Saw your request for help....I've not run my drainline as I want to be extra sure all is correct before doing so. My Rubber oildrain line will have to dip around the pipe and go towards the pan. Nothing a some heat wrap won't fix.

I will take some pics/measurements of it's location when I get home, however I measured off of where George put MM's so you might want to double check my measurements. What I also did was tie strapped the vacuum nozzle right up next to the hole to suck out some of the shavings and also put some wheel bearing grease in the hole saw to catch shavings there as well as the center section I cut out.. Which is what I was worried about pushing into the pan when I broke through the side of it as I was drilling. FYI, I put up some pics of my turbo's location on mt rice etr site under DIY T76 album.. Not the clearest but..
And thanks again for the offer on more pics… I'll let ya know
Measurements are 1.5" from the underside of the pan lip (same surface bolt head tightens against) and 3.375" from the front edge of the main rib that is over the drain plug.... if that makes sense. Hope this helps.
also got some brackets to hold the bottom of the bumper cover to the lower rad support... just gotta paint them.
