How much can I drop compression by changing head gaskets??

I really have been wanting to turbo the 408 but its running around 11:1 compression which I now is too high for boost. I do not want to have to rebuild the motor with lower compression pistons. Can I drop the compression enough to be able to run say 10 lbs of boost?

might want to look at doing a head swap to as being a 11:1 CR with a gasket change will still be somewhat high.

man if I were you I'd keep that setup, you're gonna have to tear it down to lower the compression.

I have had the same idea of turbo charging my 408 but have the same high ratio 10.9:1. Let me know what you did.
