Default Why no love for the Y2k series from turbonetics?

i think its only been mentioned one time on ls1tech ever.

i tried and failed to fit a thumper under my car earlier in the week.. i didnt want to lose the swaybar or move my rad. fans... it is probably too much turbo anyway.

i read the y2k series is a mid frame, but larger than the pt-88, and that its smaller than the gt-47 and spools better.

i need to support about 1200rw. i would like to run right up to the diameter limit of the tech series rules which i think is 82mm.

i'm finding no luck with comparison photos etc. for this turbo vs. a std t4 size or a pt-88.. and on top of that i only see mainly supras and drag imports running this turbo? whats up?

what do you think? i turned in my application fax to them earlier; awaiting response

I think its the cost of the units that is making it hard for most to justify. However your goals are much different than the rest of us, lol

most are looking to get into FI, you are pushing the current envelope. are you going to run it with just pump gas no meth
