This is what I am looking to get. Thoughts? suggestions?


402 short block
includes (front cover, valley cover & timming set)

GM LS6 oil pump

Lifters (Comp Cams stock replacement)

Manley push rods 7.400

ARP main studs

ARP head studs

Cometick Head gaskets

Cam shaft

too much...ive seen the SB advertise for 3500-3600!

ls1speed.com ie speed inc for example.which leaves you $1600 to play with for lifters cam timing head studs..seems like you could get it a tad cheaper.

you can do that with a 346-8.get good heads LQ9's to start ,a good boost cam ,go turbo like a T76/T88 Phamspeed kit or the like.unless you want to keep your S/C

I want to keep the Prochager and the Nitrous. I already have 6.0L heads.

I think it would be able to handle 700. I was able to hit 550 on my old engine. And yes intercooled.

with the 402 you'll have to open the heads more so that sucka can breathe.

12 lbs should get you 600.

get a sportsman 346 from speed inc, i think they're like 2800.

is your bottom end gone?

So my 6.0L heads won't work well enough?

#7 and block is done.

Yep I have the P1. I am sure the 402 can handle a bigger blower. But I am keeping the P1. It should be able to push in 5-8 # of boost. :dunno:
