Default 408 with a F-1r?

what supporting mods are needed besides some AFR/ALL Pro heads and standard split cam with a 114lsa and some 1 7/8 headers... thinking about a W2A IC in the back seat

what kinda power could you get out of power can you get out of this setup with 93 octane?

would this car be driveable in dry weather?

the car would be drivable in the weather as long as you didnt take it up very far in teh RPMS

you could get a ton of HP, its all a matter of how much you want to pusht he setup, and how you set it all up
F1R's are a stout blower

You'll have to forgive me but I am having a really hard time with your response and would like a little better explanation.

You could drive this setup an any weather, and provided the valve train was setup right you could rev it to 7000rpm. I drove my setup from charlotte, to KY and back, and got great gas mileage. Where are you coming from?

what im saying is that if its snowing, he could still drive the car as long as he keeps the revs down, just like pretty much any FI kit.

The motors are incrediably streetable as long as you stay out of the boost

I really dont understand whats so hard to understand bryan, i would figure since you have one of these blowers it would be pretty clear to you.
Id be willing to be you didnt drive your car to KY full in the boost, did you????
Id bet you prolly drove it like a normal car, and stayed lower in the RPM range to keep from being in the boost the entire trip.

Or id bet you prolly did stay in the boost, without alky the whole trip and made excellent gas mielage.

how high should this motor be spun and whats the average rwhp number for a F-1R 408?

We just finished one that made right at 813rwhp, with a very mild tune up.

I don't want to give out details since it's a customer's car, but it does use LS6 heads, a very moderate single pattern cam, pump gas, and about 14 psi boost. This is through cats, on a Z06 with 1 7/8" Kooks headers. Also, through an LS6 intake, with stock TB
