Default Truck 6.0 shorty's...????

Are they going to be the same as the 6.0L manifolds as far as flange placement....????

as long as they advertise that they bolt up to the stock Y-pipe, keeping the cats and suck.
the shorties ive seen look like they would.
probably have to ask the truck guys just to make sure.

Coated Shorty's facing forward look better then manifolds....

these are the truck headers i ordered they gonna face forward

I'd rather use the stock manifolds over the shorties. Most of the truck guys I've talked to said that they didn't pick up much horsepower over stock. Plus you don't have to worry about the stock manifolds cracking.

the cast iron should hold the heat in more, and definatly not crack as easy. But you might see gains with a turbo application more then you would with a NA set up. The manafolds may or maynot crack.
only one real way to see how much more power those things are worth are back to back dyno or swap it out and see if you can hit a faster MPH at the track.

That cast iron is very durable... not that stainless isn't, but temperatures start to get extreme like in a turbo application, the cast iron is going to be more reliable. You will not have to worry about cracks or even exhaust leaks against the head nearly as much! Stainless expands and contracts with changes in temperature much more than cast iron.

I jsut got my headers today and they fit the same as stock 6.0 manifolds and are very thick. they really look nice and gonnna work great i will take a picture of them on the block so you can get a look at them i poaid 299 for them
