Default Turbo guys...how are you using your boost controller?

Are you using it to allow two boost settings...like 10 psi on "A" and 16psi on "B". Or are you mapping boost vs rpm to bring it in gradually. My APEXI AVCR will work on holding a preset number, but the fuzzy logic does not work. If you try to map boost vs rpm it shuts down and just runs off the wastegate springs . TIA

we run a completely mechanical setup on Kevin's car. 2 settings, with controlable rate of rise to high boost.

I'm working on an electronic one for my car right now. It's in the devlopment board stage, but I'm able to give it a boost profile vs time and it will follow pretty nicely at this point. I need to work on packaging and some user interface but that's about it.

I run the original eBoost. It's got 3 boost setpoints. You press the uparrow button to change from 1-2-3. 7psi 10psi 13psi... good stuff!

So you guys are using the controllers (except for Harlen) to just control the max boost. I can make the Apexi do that but would like to input a curve instead of a flatline max. I can set it to max 15psi but it hits it at 3500rpm. I'd like to bring it in gradually like 10psi at 3500 12psi at 4200 14psi at 4800 etc. Anybody doing that? I can do what the Apexi is doing with a manual controller like stoleit..... a lot cheaper and more reliable.

Kinda off topic but are those Eboost boost controllers any good...are they worth it. i showed my friend who is a supra guy and he said that it "looks like junk and it has lots of fancy crap to cover up the fact that it'll boost creep through the entire rpm range"

any feedback would be appreciated

e boost 2 has rpm input and you can vary boost with rpm or time.

on street tires i have the lowest boost setting real lazy for first and second gear, then i go up to the second set point for third and fourth.

Apexi is supposed to do that but it's not reliable. Is E Boost 2 stable at a varied ramp rate?

i friend have a super street outlaw mustang turbo and he as a i think innovative turbo boost controller but im gonna check on it. It electronic and you can have s certain setting for take off and then a setting for the run so when you hit the trans brake it set itself to 15 psi then when you let the trans brake go it goes to 30 its like 600 bucks though

Is there any advantage of doing an electronic Eboost-2 control over my Turbosmart manual boost control if my car is set up with a basic MAF tune? I've been told it will hold/control boost better. I thought it just had alot of cool features if you're set-up with a speed-density tune.

The e-boost 2 is an awesome unit. It will control boost in several different ways. And yes you can use it with a MAF system as well. Plus it will control meth injection or N2O injection as well.
