69....i got a pm from someone about some JBA's but no edelbrocks....got a link?and thanks for the head up

Jaegermeister...they bolt up just like factory.....imagine instead of a y-pipe with cats you just have a crossover pipe that bolts to the headers.

YOU CAN'T USE EDELBROCK SHORTIES!!!

And BBK does make LS1 shorties, not sure why they aren't on their site.

Edelbrock headers dont use triangle type flanges. They use two bolt ball type. I am finding many sites that sell BBK shortied for LS1, I guess you just have to look around.

hey guys i am curious what kind of power you guys are expecting out of these kits? is any one hoping for or shooting for 700 or more rwhp with a larger turbo. like a t76 or so? i have always had my eye on this kit a little bit, but if the kit wont produce at least 700 rwhp i will look into something else.

Thanks
Louie

Ferocity...you obviously didnt look at post 39...its the pic straight from Edelbrock that they emailed me,theyll fit.you have a different pic than me,try emailed them and ask them for a pic for this app.

half-n-half.....im looking for >600rwhp @ 10#s on pump gas. ive got a T76GTS turbo so its big enough to handle more.Jaegermeister2k is looking for more than me and so is 69firebird....all using the budget kit with a T76GTS turbo so its doable.

the flanges are identical which is why i dont see the need for Phamspeed to change it....if you notice a difference please shout out but they look the same....even Edelbrock said they'd match....only reason i could see them having to change ur kit is if u ordered a pre 00 year crossover pipe
heres the pic again from Edelbrock....i cant swear they fit but ive got the emails from them saying that theyll fit including them checking with the exhaust division over there.

The BBK ones are on the site, just listed under New Products.

The difference on the Edelbrock headers is for the different years. The 98-99s had the extra pipe and different passager flange so they could eliminate the small pre-catalytic converter on those cars. In 2000, the cats moved to right after the manifolds so that pipe wasnt needed. So if you phamspeed kit was make for a 00+ manifold, you need 00+ headers. This goes regardless of header brand too as the flanges are in different locations for the different years.

if you look at the pic i posted of my crossover pipe and look at the flanges and then look at the pic i posted from Edelbrock at the flanges theyre the same.....and they made my kit for an 02....ive also got a set of stock 02 headers that have the same flanges as well.
