Default Shortie headers w Phamspeed kit

I figure the 02 headers will flow decently but a set of shorties will flow better, which ill need to help the 383 breath.ive noticed that some are finding cheap truck shorties on ebay and such, but not sure which ones work.So id like some recommendations. Thanks guys

Check the classifieds. That's where I got mine, hooker ceramic coated shorties $175 shipped. Usually you'll see a set of shorties for sale at least once a week for a good price. There was a thread on here a couple months back where someone found a guy on ebay who sells brand new JBA's for like two hundred and something.

Got mine here for about $80 I think. Do a search alot of times someone posts a set and they never sell so they just give up. Thats what i did and the guy still had them. Im saving mine for a future upgrade. Im getting bored with the TTi street kit

Stupid question, but doesn't phamspeed come with it's own set? Some of those truck ones looked nice, you're just reversing them on the engine right?

I believe the budget kit is designed to run off of the stock manifolds.

Warning: IF you have the phamspeed kit the TRUCK HEADERS WILL NOT FIT IT!
the truck headers will not fit in a fbody facing the orignal way, the will only fit in it facing forward.
so dont buy them for your phamspeed kit, buy the fbody shorties!

i bought the Pham budget kit....thanks smokinHawk for the warning ill stay away from the truck headers now. It drives me nuts though cause when you look at them they look like they'd fit with no problem!WuTupYo ill more than likely be selling my 02 headers if you want them ill sell them cheap.I decided that since im building a forged motor i might as well try and get the best flow i can through the exhaust. So anyone have a recommendation of some Fbod shorties thatll work well?

look at the driver side, that is the one that wont fit. the truck one is longer and hits the firewall badly.

The JBA's wont work either. They are a mid length header and wont fit with the phamspeed kit.
