Turbo Differences
Ptrim refers to an internal style wastegate (WG) in the turbine housing, Q trim is an external gate style turbine housing with no provisions for a WG and requires you to put one on the headers/crossover to control boost, and the new GTS style housings I believe work with a larger exhaust wheel and newest design in turbine housings with the need for an external WG like the Qtrim.
Ptrim produces the least amount of power; however can be easier to package (as it requires the least amount of room and when a properly sized WG puck is installed it can control 750hp+ without creep). Ptrim is maybe 30hp or so less compared to a Q trim. GTS is supposedly one of the top dogs out when putting together the turbo hot side.

I thought it referred to the WG setup as well. Oh well.
