good move on reworking that piping. I don't like that design at all.

here is what I did. note the humphose is gone, this was preliminary work. I now have the stock splash guard and everything back in place with a hole cut for the pipe to run thru. looks extremely clean and I have gobs of clearance even with the car being lowered. I need to take updated pics.

Exotic Performance Plus: Very good write up on the progress/ installs! That took alot of time, but it turned out great! Some video/ more pics of dyno numbers would be great! I'd like to see what the custom cut bumper looks like on the care too! Thanks for all your work!

Also... Any idea how much boost, HP he will probably see with this setup?

I am considering the same work in the future, what does something like this cost, installed at your facility? Include everything! Parts, labor, dyno tune.. Stuff like that. Thanks again!

Thanks! I'll be adding rwhp/torque numbers as soon as we get it tuned. We'll initially tune for part throttle only, so that we can get some miles on the fresh engine before going wide open throttle.

I added pics last night of the bumper reinstalled.

I would like to shoot for 14 to 15 psi. Id be happy with 650 rwhp+, we'll see what the STS can deliver.

I'll get back with you on the total cost. Thanks. Bob

EPP, can you please report what kind of IAT's your seeing with the FMIC? and if your using Meth on top what the IATs are with FMIC AND Meth? I am tuning a friends STS, w/o meth and no FMIC it starts out at 110* and traps at 150* (Hawaii ambient temp ~78* with high humidity and elevated DA, even though we are "sea-level"). On Meth the car starts at 110* and traps about 117* with smallest meth nozzle being used. Runs made on 5psi. So that temp drop was nice, but b/w larger nozzle and FMIC I think we can get it down much much more, I'd like only a few *'s above ambient personally, or am I crazy?

your not crazy, totally doable.

on 5psi with the FMIC mine rises very little. I will check some logs later to get exact #'s

pretty postive its under 10*

my IC piping is routed very differently than that one though so keep that in mind.

Thanks! Look into the FMIC kit made by Synergy, a sponsor here. The Synergy kit appears to address the shortcomings of the TRT kit. Bob

Charlie, we haven't started tuning yet. Some of the parts took longer to get than what we expected, and we had several other cars scheduled in that we had to work on. Hopefully we can still get it up and running this week. Bob

Car is strapped down on my Dyno to get the part throttle tuning done this morning. We'll get some miles on it and then get some wide open throttle figures. Bob

650+ RWHP will not be a problem with that setup.Keep the timing low/rich down low and really help's the STS spool.

slowhawk - I have heard of doing this before, can you provide a few details, how rich and how little timing are we talking? At what rpm range are you starting and ending this spool up trick?
