TTi Street Kit doesn't require AC deletion = TTi Street Kit Keeps a/c...
Same thing, right?

tti kit has been around for a while. alot of the members here have the tti street kit, it just doesn't get alot of fame. as for the race kit, MM was/is running it. Speed Inc adopted it for their Eliminator Turbo Kit (A2A vs A2W Intercoolers).

everthing expands when you heat it. Mild steel is more ductile than stainless, so it deals with the expansion better. It will however, release carbon as it heat cycles over time and get brittle.
A properly designed stainless header won't crack, and it will hold up to the heat better over time. Expecially 321 or better yet, inconel.
But, mild is MUCH cheaper and easier to work with, making it a popular choice.

All of my headers have been 321 stainless, with slip fit merge collectors.
Expect to spend twice as much on the material if you're doing it yourself.
Not knowing what header design you have/want, if you want cheap and not worrying about cracking on a short runner configuration stick with mild.
