Re: harlan
Cablebandit and myself are some of the few single owners (both of us have M6's)
Cablebandit just finished his forged engine rebuild, i think hes still tweaking though
Harlan and myself are finishing our forged engine rebuilds, though Matt is farther along then me, and better off. <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

Re: harlan
There is lots of things you can change to make the system better....tt system but not sure what robs kit has diff. I would amagin wastegate for sure as he had that upgrade a while back when he sold the tt systems
You can enlarge the downpipe as stated.
Move the wastegate to a proper location (close to the turbo, i wanted to move mine to the elbow above the turbo when i had the kit but decided to go complete custom)
enlarge the crossover tube
enlarge intercooler piping
bigger intercooler
Get a wastegate that is rated for what you are pushing (deltagate as stated on turbonetics site handles 400 hp) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Re: harlan
My wastegate seems to be fine where it is. I THOUGHT i had the "racegate" but the sticker fell off...could swear it is tho. I think the intercooler could remain in the same place but be taller...looks to be room (make it hang farther down). I would LIKE to get a bigger log on the turbo manifold but I'll wait to see if Robs is reasonable. I called Robs place to inquire about possible prices but they wouldnt tell me anything yet till their kit is out. Not sure why tho....they could be selling manifolds..downpipes and crossovers NOW. These are not the parts they are having problems getting. nBesides...i only asked for pricing.....

Re: harlan
best i can understand, you would have to replace the pass. manifold (with longer 00+ one), the downpipe, crossover, And log all at once, they would not fit the tt system any other way.
i would have expected the turbo log to be at least 3" but he still has his saying its a 2.5" log.

turbonetics wastegate area
<a href="http://groups.msn.com/Zturbo/otherturbosetups.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=228 " target="_blank">
here is another pic of a racegate.</a>
Look at this the one on the right is the racegate. It has a anodized red ring on the bottom and is quite large.
Turbonetics deltagate/racegate demensions
If you measure yours you can see exactly which it is there is no guessing if it is a racegate as it is bigger.
Hope you have the racegate if you paid for it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Re: harlan
Just talked to George at TT and he says they are going to try to do a 3" dp and crossover for the m6 this week on a car they have there now. If not, I'm thinking of a different manifold design...it can be done....
