Default whats a step up from a t-76

what turbo is the next biggest after the mp t76

i am thinking of mking my own kit and want to make big power...i was looking at the t76, it's nice but might be a little small(i would like to buy a turbo once and not have to buy another cause the one i got was too small) and i ws also looking at the MP gt45 that looks nice to but might be a tad on the big side....is there a turbo maybe in between the two that you would recomend?

my power goals would be like 850-1000 RWHP

a precision T76GTS would max out in the upper 900'srwhp
their PTE88 should be good for another 150-200rwhp

Garrett has GT47 in 76, 80, and 88mm trims which would very in HP from ABOUT 800-1250rwhp but come in a bigger package.

you best bet would probably be the T76gts unless your set on making over 1000rwhp then the GT47 88 or PTE88 would be a better choice.

First their is no Master Power T76. Next the GT45 is actually only a 70mm unit. IF you want something bigger, go with a 76GTS. If you want bigger then that, then its time for a GT42-76 or PTE88. Big jump though between the 76's and 88.

The GT80R is a killer piece in the sense that it is the ONLY turbo to bridge the gap between the 76mm and 88, with almost no sacrifice in spoolup. But it will cost you a premium. The R-trim wheel is a tad heavy as well, but the DBB option makes up for it.

That depends on how you look at it. Not counting extra cash for fabrication and pipe, you could ALMOST come out even if you pick the right turbo's. I think master power makes a 60 or 62mm turbo, and they are CHEAP. Like under $600 if you get a deal (I think). Now, if you had set aside 1200 for a nice single, your golden; and another wastegate would be another 2-400. You still only need the one bypass or blow-off. Two 60's on a 346 is pretty extreme, but if you were going larger, they would be sweet on the street. Instant spool and plenty of capibility.

Yes, but its a T6. In T4 trim unfortunately nothing comes in between. Well not until later this week.

The GT45 is nice unit, but not it will not support 850-1000rwhp in stock trim. The new GT45-76 will though, but its a few more days before it hits the dyno.
