Arrow Forged 347, supercharger?, and nitrous?

Ok i have a forged 347 with forged diamond pistons, forged lunati rods, and a forged 6.0l crank. It is in the process of being re-built and would like to know what the best sc set up with be best with what i would like to do. Here is what i was wanting to accomplish - I want to make somewere around 700-800rwhp in a A4 with 3500 stall and 4.10s, so someone help me out.

And by the way i used the search feature with no help.

thanx

Similar to what I am considering. I havethe Procharger D1 kit and love it. I am pretty certain the D1 can support that power, but not sure with the 347...

There a member on here by the name of Pro Stock John, that is selling a very capable supercharger kit, it would easily make the kind of power you want without nitrous.

shameless plug for john

yes preferably youd like low comp pistons, low comp heads, you will need a different cam more designed for boost

sucks changing everything
I know

may have been a bit over kitll, if you could use 6.0 heads and get the compression down to say 9:1ish then you should be able to make some power.

however to make the power you want itll take alot of boost and a low comp motor built to handle it

I make over 700rwhp with a 348ci and a blower. You don't need nitrous.

Thats the fun part tho. I dont know im still thinking of when they actually begin working on my motor i might just put a good supercharger cam, low compression pistons, low compression heads with a fast intake and throttle body then a nice blower setup, what would you think that would cost, and what would be a good size cam for this setup? The 402 stroker motor i was hoping to have built with some other goodies is going to run close to $12k would i be lower than that with a blower setup?

thanx guys for the help

A Nice T trim or YSi trim will net you your hp levels and you'll never have to worry about filling your bottles.

4.10's in an a4 that already has a nice low gear in the tranny will be useless. You can back that gear down to a 3.23 or even a 2.73 and you'll still have a lot of low end grunt.

The 4:10s and the stall are prolly going to stay just to see what kind of 60's i pull, i know it might be a overkill and 1st gear will last for about .2 seconds when i launch but ive always had the dream of tires in the air. Ill go back to 3:73s or 3:42s after that but im just going to play for awhile.

you won't need 4.10's to pull up the fronts. unless you're running a tall tire you will run out of gear way before the finish line.

my friend dave makes approx 600 to the wheels, has a 3600 stall and a 12 bolt with 3.42 gears, he pulls them about a foot or so.

4.10's are going to be too much gear if you make over 700rwhp, been there. I run 3.50's now and pull the tires about a foot or so in the air.

A blower is easier on the motor. (doesn't crush the oil out of the bearings when it hits)
Filling the bottles gets old quick.Nitrous cars are harder to launch because of the massive torque hit.

FI is more of an 'up front' cost.

I see a turbo in my near future.
