Arrow procharger 6-rib d1sc???

I was wondering if i was to buy this supercharger setup and went with 7lbs of boost with a 150 shot on top of that would i to get low compression pistons still? I have a forged 347, forged diamond pistons, im going to get low compression heads, and a better supercharger cam but i dont know what yet? Im right at 441rwhp and 423rwtq on motor what would i be at with all the above added? If anyone has any video clips i sure would like to hear what this supercharger sounds like. Im in a automatic with a 3500 stall looking for mid 10s with this setup, do you think its possible.

I would go with the D-1SC 8 rib kit if you are buying a new one. If you are looking at a used D-1SC with the 6 rib set-up, you can still make 8 psi of boost without belt slippage.
Lower compression heads will be all you need to drop your compression ratio for what you are wanting to do.
You should see another 100+ rwhp at 8 psi of boost.
Mid 10's are certainly possible if you have your cars suspension worked out to handle the horsepower. Bob

So i dont need to change to lower compression pistons or change my cam (ms3 237/242 .601 .603 113lsa). Also if i wanted to go with a smaller pulley what is the most boost i could run before stuff starts breaking?

We aim for 9/1 to 9.5/1 for the compression ratio with an ATI ProCharger. Centrifical superchargers such as an ATI ProCharger can handle more compression than a positive displacement (roots style) supercharger can handle.
The camshaft you currently have isn't a blower cam, but I have seen surprising results with non blower designed cams in the past.
With a forged 347, you could shoot for 14 psi with the new for '05 ATI ProCharger D-1SC with the larger 4.5" thick twin hi flow intercoolers, that come with larger 3.0" tubing.
KP is into the nines in the 1/4 with a D-1SC at 13 psi! Bob

Thats awosme but the bad thing is, is that i dont have the cash for a brand new supercharger but i found a used one that only has 100 miles on it for $3900! Will that get me the same thing? Should i run 14psi with the spray and how big of shot?

Once you add up the cost of a smaller blower pulley and belt, you're not that far away from what I sell the new ones for.
I would not run 14 psi with the smaller 3.5" intercoolers, but you could run 10 to 12 psi, especially with a 50 shot of spray. Bob

What about a 100 shot? I know nitrous and a supercharger makes the nitrous hit a bit bigger than it actually is but say i us a 100 shot what would that actually be at about 10psi?

You could easily be making over 700rwhp with 10psi and a 100 shot. You better make sure your chassis is set up to handle it! Bob
