Good luck, hope you plan on low comp pistons and I would do twin intanks vs the intank and inline.

Bos, what type of valves are in your MTI heads? Ferra? Rev N2O/boost? Also, are they not 2.055? You should really use 2.08 for best results with a blower as big as a D1, IMO. Obviously any valve size will work but personally for that big of a blower I'd want 2.08 to take full advantage. Also, I might pick something other than an X1 cam.

I believe they are ferra valves, they are 2.055 valves...

The X1 cam will work alright for now...the only problem I think will be the LSA...

I got a loan for the blower...only put down $1300..

But, I will see on the dyno how the fuel situation goes...

And if something occurs with the stock bottom end, which I don't think will happen, I'm only going to run 8lbs of boost, so I don't think it should be problem...

Other than that, I trust that Speed Inc. will do another great install and tune once again..

Looks good. Now ur going to have some fun. The
polished plenum looks great in the car. Tom at Speed Inc. is the way to go. All I did was tell him what I was doing, and what Lingenfelter did. He took care of the rest. Speed Inc. did a great job on the car. As he will do urs. What kinda boost you shooting for? On a 7psi pulley im only getting is 4lbs of boost. I was shooting for 5 1/2lbs- 6lbs of boost. But LPE heads flow so well I was only able to see 4lbs. 510rwhp on 4lbs of boost isnt to bad for now. Good Luck.

What kind of compression do you have now with the heads. The valve size shouldnt make that big a difference because you are forcing the air, they shouldnt choke it at all. Is it a 114 lsa? is it split duration like most for example mine is 224 228 581 584 114. If the CR is high then get some kenetic thick gaskets to drop it a bit.

This is better achived with a 2.08 valve. 2.055 will work fine, but 2.08 would be preffered for big boost applications.

The X1 cam is a reverse split pattern (230/227 I beleive); not ideal for boost IMO. Everyone has there own ideas on what cam will suit them best though..LOL Also, I beleive it's a 112lsa which is also not ideal for holding cylinder pressure...I'd rather use a 114 or 115lsa....

Either way though, you'll have fun with that setup Bos

Any guesses on to what kind of boost I will actually see, I'm going to try and run 8lbs...

The compression is like 10:1-10.3:1...

Still in the safe range I think for running that amount of boost...

LS6's are 10.5:1 compression, and I've seen a few running 12lbs of boost, and a lot on like 7-8lbs holding up fine...

Looks like a lot of fun how come a inline and a intank, why not just an intank upgrade?

Tom suggested that I do that...

I brought up the idea originally to him about having twin inlines...I really don't want to spend the money on twin intanks, and if they go out, its all over...

We were also going to try the 255 inline, and see on the dyno if that would give enough fuel, but I decided to do the intank too, not to risk anything...

I should have enough PSI...

The only thing I don't like about the 255L inlines is that IF they go bad you will barely have enough fuel supply from the intank making it threw to get to where you're going. The car will still run but, don't try and go up any hills if that happens.

My ATI inline died after several thousand miles of street use so I have experienced this first hand.

The big intank also might help if that ever occured though.

I'm not using ATI's inline...

Do you still want those 28lb injectors??

Let me know....

I think the ATI inline and the one you are going to be running are VERY similiar. I'll take a picture of my dead pump and show you what it looks like.

Yep, whenever you get those injectors out let me know. Thanks alot.

Ok, my car goes in on the 18th of this month, and it comes out around the 24th I believe, probably earlier....

I will get those 28's as soon as they come off the car though...

I ran an ATI inline on my Mustang that had a D1-B running 18lbs boost for a year with no problems.

BigBos-with the Heads and Cam your running, you could get away with 12lbs of boost because the Cam will be bleeding off some of the cylinder pressure

Anyone have any ideas on what kind of actual boost I will see w/the 112lsa cam?

Also if I do indeed hit 8lbs, how much rwhp do you think I will get?
