Futral Does FI Too! New Shortblock!

Well I am a happy camper! I got the 370" short block I ordered a while back. I had Futral Pick out the parts based on my plans, Allan says the block will handle 800hp.

FMS 6.0L Shortblock
Diamond Pistons -15cc 8.85cr w/72cc heads
Mahle Rings
Manley Sportsman 6.125" Rods
ARP Main Studs
Federal Mogul Main Bearings
King Rod Bearings
Dura Bond Cam Bearings
Bore/hone w stress plates, debur
Balance/Blueprinted/assembled

Now I just get to play the waiting game for the heads to get here...

Futral's price with me suppling the block/crank was $2690.00. Not bad in my book!

Allan, what would be the price to do that on a 5.7L LS1 if the customer supplied the block/crank and wanted it in stock bore and stroke with 9.0-5:1 compression with stock 5.7LS1 heads?

Shortblock looks good but IMO I don't think I'd opt for I-beam rods...

Just taking a wild guess here, BUT, I'll bet Allan Futral Knows what the F he's doing.

I never said he didn't know what he's doing. -----IMO----- I would have gone with the H-beams for added added strength and durability.

Not to knock on you guys or anything, because I may call you guys some day, but...

How does anyone consider a 250 shot of nitrous n/a?

If that's the case, then my car is still stock.. well, it still has (very few) stock parts on it

Looks like the 9.95 @ 136 is N/A and his old best was on N2O... Pretty easy to me.
