Default f body magna charger

How hard is it to put a magna charger or a Magnuson on an ls1 camaro? I know someone has done it before, i just wondered what all is involved and what is different about the C5 setup that wouldnt work on an F body.

A guy is selling his camaro on here in the for sale section that has a maggie installed. PM him on the details, he has many before and after as well as progress pics. Doesn't look too hard.

I believe that the biggest difference is the wiper cowl. The plastic support area under the wipers needs to get cut to clear the top/back of the blower. Not sure about other stuff.

How about all the belt routing and alternator positioning? There has to be some major difference otherwise a lot of people would have them.

The big issue is cutting the cowl.

Here are 3 pics of a setup that Mister HP was working on, but it seems like it's on hold.

I forget if the pics that I have are intercooled or not, he was working on both.

Something had to be done to get the wipers to work too. I know they had to remove them to get the charger on.

Man, those pictures are so nasty. Its a wonder that no one has come out with a kit for camaros and firebirds yet and just said in the manual "cutting required".

might want to call magnacharger, when I talked with them back in june they said they wre definetly looking into producing something. This has been the first time that I talked with them and they've said they were planning something. Always before they said it was impossible, in june they said they were going to design a charger to fit under the cowl, yet still keep the same 112 specs. I was told something would hopefully appear by august-at least news of it happening. there still seems to be nothing, at least no news on their website.
