How much boost are you running? Pump or race gas?

I would expect a more out of a TT 408. Those are definitely nice
numbers...don't get me wrong. I'm guessing that's a really safe
street tune.

That thing must pull like a freight train.

Oh I forgot.................yes that is on PUMP GAS 93 oct. 16lbs of boost. Also if you look real close you will see where the wheels spun on the dyno. I have 19" wheels. Even with it straped down hard and 450+ lbs sitting in the trunk it still was spinning. So really we don't know what it is putting down...YET

I can attest to the snow, we got a dusting around Chicago.

Sounds like your car is making some great power, what intercooler setup? Any idea how much timing you were running at peak ph, like 17 or so?

It is a FLP twin turbo...........info here https://www.flp2win.com/store/kits.php
That is my car however it is a 408 now not a 383
I know that the timing was 17deg but I think Dan said he pulled out a little so I really don't know. Yes it was just a dusting today but with my luck you never know I really think I am going to have to change wheels...the 19" size is not going to get me any sticky tires and right now it is a JOKE at 1/3 pedal. I think a Honda could take me........I would just sit there and spin I have this winter to think about it though

Sounds about right...I'm running twin 66's but I'm on stock cubes. Are those ball-bearing turbos? Congrats man that should be a BLAST!

No offense, but those numbers still seem vey low for twin T66's into a 408. The only other similar setup posted was that one done by Dark Dragon Motorsports, and they made 1045 RWHP at 13 psi. That's 280 RWHP and 135 RWTQ more at 3 pounds less boost.

Well I know the car your talking about and it was NOT no 8.8:1 CR (you have to look at that to boost) and that pull was sure not on pump gas. I have no doubt that I am at or over 800rwhp if and when I can find a way to keep from spinning on the dyno. But to tell you the truth..this is a street car and the power it make now it just plain nutts on the street.

edit..I think this is a different vette. I see that it has a 8.0:1 CR looks like it make more power

No need to bash on this guy's car...his dyno was on PUMP gas and was spinning on the dyno.

Dark dragon must have been with a stick...I'll race the dark dragon car with 250 less horsepower just to show you what dyno numbers mean.

I have twin 66's on a 346...but it's no dyno queen.

Let me be the first, well prolly not, to call bullshit on this one.

There is no way you can make 1045rwhp on 13psi..period..

Start your own thread for use to bash it.

Nice stuff Gman..glad to see its on its ready for the spring

Thanks............and I agree. that goes against everthing I was told about boost and CR. They say that car has a 8.0:1 cr and At 6.5PSI the car still makes 750RWHP I want that dyno Anyway power you can't get to the ground is wasted........................gota work on that

before you start making retarded claims...you should really know that psi doesn't mean hp....****..you make a big enough intake manifold and you could get 1k hp with 5psi....psi is just the amount of pressure in the intake mani.

bad *** car.

Maybe you should understand what you're talking about before you type?? Manifold size won't get you around physics
