I had my car at 11:1 af, 16* timing around peak tq, ramping up to 20-22 or so at redline last time it was tuned on the stock bottom end. made a pull at 12:1 but gained no HP, so we put it back.

what hp are you shooting for? how much boost, size injectors, etc?

I made 505rwhp 530 tq on a mustang dyno at 8.5psi with that tune.

have run it at 10-11 psi with cold air, and 50/50 race gas, same tune. which should have been over 600rwhp.

I like what Rod posted but I'm not sure what peak timing will be safe for you, you'll have to see. I would not be suprised if your peak timing was also in the teens.

*Nods in agreement w/ Pro Stock John & PurEvl* Conservative timing on a boosted (or nitrous) application is your friend.

now that I remember, I think we did have to pull out 2* from about 4500 to 6500 after I drove it. think this is where I remember 22, then we went down to 20.

and this is even though it was tuned on a mustang dyno. BUT, they had the weight of the car (programmed in) at only 3450 for the tuning. The car weigh's about 3860 with me in it. And when I drove it I was seeing .5-1 psi more boost on the street.

been a few years now since that tuning session, I remember slow. lol

92 octane, all i could find. no meth. probably goin to turn it down some. at least a pound or so. holds steady right at 10. finally got to do some racing as well. raced a 10sec 5.0 and pulled about 5 cars or so, spinning all the way through 3rd. its a great runnin car and that makes me feel good about this project. max afr was 11.5, most of the time it was 10.9 thru 11.5 so its a pretty safe tune. still got a little something goin on at idle but it didnt affect performance at all. 510ftlbs at 3700 rpm max at 4500 596ftlb. max hp was at 5500 with 578.9 and 551tq to boot. all runs ended at 5600rpm. cant wait to see how it does at track 13.0@120's? maybe we will see
