Be sure to take some pic's at the show.

Thanks Kyle. That was pretty cool at Thunder I haven't heard **** from Tony in a long time. Keep us up-to-date on if and when Thunder is going to happen. Eric (Next) said is chomping at the bit to get back there. It is to bad that the LS1 Tech series was cancelled (understandable but regretable).

The show actually is not all that great. The shop cars were a hit. The 67 Turbo (T106MM) and mine were busy all most the entire weekend. Pretty cool . I didn't take 1 picture at the show. Again, why when we have the best in the area anyway .

The SS is almost ready to fire. Absolutely can't wait. I will get some video of the dyno tune session.

Also the 67 Camaro is running. Believe it is schedule to be final tuned next week. Now that is a bad *** sounding car. Full muffler system. It will be a "sleeper" . Believe it will be "de-tuned" to 1500-1600 RWHP. Mine will be ONLY 1000RWHP.

David
Thanks again guys.

Can't wait to see what kind of power that beast puts down!

Is the RX-7 in the left side of the picture a V8 conversion?

Nope. Just a new roter engine. The kid bought an engine management that can't be tuned. I believe it is from Britian or something.

We do have 2 other ones being done. But no V8 - just 1 doing a Supra engine (with turbo) swap.

Good Luck. Looks like 2008 or 9 will be the next gen Camaro.

My son's project has been his/my project for the last 5-6 years. We added a air-2-water intercooler and bigger cams this year. Waiting on him to get his clutch (needs something to hold up to the power he puts down). He'll back to the track this year sometime. Here's a couple pictures of his ride.

I doubt he will ever buy an F-body. He may help drive mine, but we'll see how the season goes. Now he is an automatic 80lb weight reduction (his 165lb to my 245lb)

Is it going to be ready for the opening weekend? I cant wait to see it. Your car has been my favorite ever since I started going to Thunder Valley a few years ago. Keep up the good work.

Nope. We'll have to wait until next weekend. We don't want to go until the car is 100% ready. Still waiting on the paracute.

The SS has not fired yet. This weekend should be initial start-up. Bottom end was broken in last year, so shouldn't take much of a warm up to put it on the dyno for race tune. When it fires, I'll get the video out.

Thanks

That be him. He broke the BBK T/B like 5-6 times. Finally found one that will not brake. Works great. I'll let him know that you have a clutch for sale. I'll PM later.

Thanks

Default Coating's

Navy David SS nice work, i hate to burst your bubble though on your header coating's and turbo coating's. I noticed you did them in sterling, that coating will be gone and will dull out very soon and look like ****. Take it from me i've allready been there. I have one vehicle that make's 1350RWHP and another that make's 900RWHP both are twin turbo Chevy's. You have to do your manifold's and turbo's in high heat grey, black, or blue 2000 degree, then you do intercooler piping and intake piping in sterling, what you used on everything. The sterling is only good for 1300 those turbo's and manifold's will turn to **** real quick. Either way though good luck.
