You guys are going to end up twisting my arm and then I'll have to call blouch. Onfire is it still in the 1800 dollar range for the upgraded cartridges and all the work?

They have a -13 chra. Dang that is going to be big but I guess with that LPE 427 you would really like a bigger one. Let us know how it turns out as I am getting my ducks in a row for my rebuild and what to know just how big you can go and what combo works best. Great ride and great setup.

Anyone have the theoretical flow rates on the -13 CHRA's (in lbs/min).....?

Since my motor popped I'm wondering if a 347 or 370 would be a better fit.....Jose?

If you're running an Incon a 347 would be best.

-32 = 44lb/min
-11 = 50lb/min

After that it's all a guess since they have not been flowed in the smaller Incon compressor housing. I would guess a -12 would hit 52lb/min......a -13 probably will not fit...absolute perfection would be 55lb/min.

Be sure to use the 0.86AR turbine housing...they definitely are the largest and will make more power.

When I had my kit I used this link:

http://www.turbofast.com.au/GTseries.html

-13 is rated a 60lb/min, but my guess is that onfire is right and the compressor housing are going to bring that down a bit.

Be sure to let us know whether or not the -13's will fit. Thanks.

Looks like a hybrid 13/14 might fit....60 lb/min rated = ??? possibly 56lb/min with the Incon TO4B compressor housing....

We're going to mock up a TO4E housing....it would be a true 60lb/min turbo if it will fit in the car............

Going to be a fun fall.........

Thanks again for looking into this. Gives us all some options.

at least 850 I bet.

how many of those cars that did 9's are a stickshift tho? best incon 6speed time I know of is Harlan a long time ago. 10.00x at 140+

If others have done better, I apologize. I read this forum in the winter a lot, then am busy a lot more in the summer.

Damn this thread has taken off... onfire, if you do try, I'd also love to hear about the bigger 13/14's.

I think I bought the last brand new Incon kit about 2 months ago. The owner sat on it for years without installing it.

I'm totally willing to buy someone's completed kit before I even buy an f-body (assuming I have money handy)

There's just no other kit out there that's reliable, keeps A/C, and keeps P/S. They all seem to have drawbacks.

It has the possibility to keep the ac...

Unless you already have an aftermarket tubular K-member, or unless you have the whole engine/subframe on the ground in front of you it's almost impossible to get the ducting and compressor to fit.

I had the k-member dropped 10 inches, the engine lifted away from the k-member and the pedestal for the engine mount removed in addition to the ac compressor out of the car and I barely got the turbo assembly/ducting installed. It was a nightmare and pretty much impossible if the compressor was still in place using the stock K-member.

But I certainly agree with you that it's the best twin kit ever made for the f-body. ~Joshua

I had to notch my tubular k-member to get it to fit. Worked out though.
