Unless you already have an aftermarket tubular K-member, or unless you have the whole engine/subframe on the ground in front of you it's almost impossible to get the ducting and compressor to fit.

I had the k-member dropped 10 inches, the engine lifted away from the k-member and the pedestal for the engine mount removed in addition to the ac compressor out of the car and I barely got the turbo assembly/ducting installed. It was a nightmare and pretty much impossible if the compressor was still in place using the stock K-member.

But I certainly agree with you that it's the best twin kit ever made for the f-body. ~Joshua
You did all that in your garage? Props Josh! How hard (out of 10) was this kit to install? I know I wouldn't be able to do it myself, though.. I'd have to get someone who knows what they're doing..

Which Tube K-Member would you recommend me getting? That's one extra $500 part that's a part of the hidden costs

P.S... Any updates on the upgradded turbos for cable or onfire?

That was through the stock twin ICs?? Damn! How much boost? I'm assuming you're still playing with 93 + Meth, too.

It was done in a one car garage with 1.5 feet of room on eigther side of the car. The car was on jackstands with two different jacks to drop/raise parts of the k-member/engine. I'd rate this install an 9.5 the way I did it. Lots of details and loose ends.

Damn Jerry!!! 820?! Kewl.....

@ the 1.5 feet on each side.. that's no joke. Not bad, considering it only took you a week to put in...

A little off topic, but, does anyone have their actuators off currently and can measure how long the rod is actually protruding from the base on both of the actuators. I am thinking 4-4.5" on one and 2-2.5" on the other. Just the actuator rod, not including the extension arm that clips on the wastegate. Thanks.

Call Lingenfelter...they got me a replacement actuator when I needed one for my old Incon kit. They should be able to give you the measurements you need.

I think I found an old set. Looks like 2.125" rod on one side and 3" rod on the other. Firehawk#608, I would appreciate it if you did look at yours while they are out and post what you measure.

My Incons are at the same place as cablebandit's. They are being shipped back today. They spent a total of 6 days there. I wish they would become a sponsor here. Great turbo shop... the best experience possible. ~Joshua
