Forced induction cam for 402 CI 8.5:1 engine
Forced induction cam for 402 CI 8.5:1 engine I know this is probably been asked before but all the threads i found were 347-370ci based cars.
I have a fully built 402 @8.5:1 comp w/AFR 225's. I'm looking for any and all suggestions on cam selection. I will most likely go with a F1 blower @ about 15-16psi or whatever I can safely push it to on pump gas. I would like a nice driveable cam but one that sounds good at idle, not stock sounding! Of course power output/driveability is first, sound/idle second.
Maybe Bob @ exotic could chime in here, I know they do lots of prochargers there. Just don't know if they have done any w/400+ ci.
